An old friend of mine used to carry around two photos with him and take them out whenever anybody else started sharing photos. His photos were of his "Pride" and "Joy" and as he always got a chuckle, were a bottle of Liquid Joy and Pride cleaner. Digital Foci has a product available for the person that wants to share photos or carry special ones with them on a keychain, The Digital Foci Pocket Album.

Over this past years Holiday Gift giving, we noticed tremendous sales numbers on the full size digital photo frame market. Manufacturers from Pan Digital to Philips had products that not only displayed large 10" or 12" photos on vibrant screens but also featured FM Radios, Clocks and even weather for the area. The price point on these digital photo frames has come down over the last year, these still make great gift ideas for Mother Days or Fathers Day however at $75 and above, it can be taxing on the budget.

Digital Foci has a solution for Moms and Dad to carry photos with them and it's priced right at around $30. The Digital Foci Pocket Album is a 1.5" digital photo viewer and can store up to about 74 digital photos (8 MB) that can be easily carried with a keychain.

Photos can be displayed as a slideshow or manual scrolled through when showing the pics to friends and co-workers. No need to go out and purchase batteries for the keychain photo album are needed for this device as it ships with a Lithium-Ion battery that can give the user up to nine hours of battery life. For saving battery life, the unit features an automatic on/off timer so no worrying if you left it on. 

Transferring the photos to the Digital Foci Pocket Album is rather easy to accomplish with a USB cable and included software, which must be used to transfer images and also scales the photo for viewing on the 1.5" screen. Once the unit is connected, the Digital Photo Transfer Software can be started; photos in either .jpg or .bmp can be transferred to the device. Computers with Vista, XP, 2000 or even Mac 10.X or later are supported with the software. Instructions on using the Digital Photo viewer are included with the packet and transferring the photos is truly easy.
